This life we live is but a tale
Eternal detention without chance of bail
To battle; to war; to strife for peace
Stability, joy, love and ease!
This life we live is but a desperate prayer
Sung by a toiler in the dusty air
In the warring journey to find solace; refuge
With hands so bare yet his baggage so huge!
This world is but a hostile rival
Whose residents wade on for a chance to survival
That perpetuates the customs of hatred and fear
That robs its people of all they endear
But there are burning hopes that our victory hangs upon.
God bless the struggle for peace, dear soldier, fight on!
