Dear courage fill this little heart
And send your endurance; strength and gallance
Let it not give in or set apart
Let it retain its fortitude and patience
This innocent child so weak; so faint
Who's plagued by the scourge of battle and war
Send your strength for her own strength to maintain
Even when the pain torments her heart from its core
These burdens that fall on her little shoulder
These battles that enslave her little fief
It gets tougher, scarier and colder
As she prays for only one day to see freedom n relief
Listen to the silent cry
In desperate pain and hopelessness
Dear birds do lend her your wings to fly
So she can meet the world of trouble less cheerfulness
Take heed in that yearning pain
For the faintest shred of cheer
Let her efforts not be done in vain
Ones she makes while she's still here
Dear heaven show your mercy and peace
And bear the burdens of your little child
Let her know no hurt but relief and ease
Oh gentle heart so meek and mild
