The colour that marks despair
The sorrows and pains of those who care
That carries grief and burdens for the hearts to bear
A smile stripped of true essence on a face to wear

That resembles the smoke after a gruesome fire's burnt
On the grounds of nature when love is spurned
The flames of relinquished gifts that were earned
When courage left the coward's heart and never returned

The symbol of evil, overbearing and dark
a tree that's stripped; no leaf or bark
A shrine with no cover, roof to arc
To protect its people from reality so stark

The colour that shades the unfortunate one
For destiny's stern attention that one cannot shun
But to endure the consequences of what was never done
But an inevitable law that shows that lifes begun

The colour conventionally accepted as wrong
Those who have its shade are virtually the strong
Who are plagued and have their become n everyday song
As things remain unresolved and pains linger for long

The colour of pain, deep-seated sorrow
Faultless mouth deprived, with none to swallow
A heart that doesn't beat but batlle to tomorrow
A journey where the travellor treads in the path so narrow

The colour in the troubled eye that cannot see
When unfortunate truth are as austere as can be
When mercy seems to reject his plea
A tormented soul as troubled as he
